2026-2027 competition dance auditions

AUDITION INFORMATION:

Audition Process:

  1. Email: info@UTartscollective.com to schedule a call to discuss our competition options, your dancers goals and what to expect at the audition.

  2. Complete the online Audition application and pay audition fee $15-$20 per dancer.

  3. Review the audition schedule August 4.
    Ages 5 - 8 - 11:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.
    Ages 9-12 - 9:15 - 10:30 a.m.
    Ages 13 - 18 - 9:15 - 10:30 a.m.
    Audition schedule is designated by the dancers age as of January 1, 2027

What to expect for Academy, Ensemble, Company Auditions:

  • Ballet and Jazz Technique Audition:
    Dancers must wear fitted dance attire (no baggy layers), bare feet or dance shoes, and hair must be pulled back off their neck. Dancers should also bring their ballet slippers, pointe shoes (if applicable).

  • Callbacks: (August 5th or 6th)
    The last day of auditions dancers should be prepared to attend a summer dance class. Dancers will receive a callback email with the time and class requested.

  • Results:
    Audition results will be emailed Friday, August 7th by 5:00 pm to the email listed on the dancers registration form.
