2025 THEATRE CAMP GUEST FACULTY!

THAYNE JASPERSON - Thayne Jasperson is an accomplished American actor, singer, and dancer best known as an original Broadway cast member of Hamilton, where he originated the role of Samuel Seabury and continues to perform in the production - making him the only original cast member still on Broadway. He also served as an understudy for John Laurens/Philip Hamilton and King George III.

Thayne began his professional career in dance, gaining national recognition as a Top 12 finalist on Season 4 of So You Think You Can Dance. He went on to perform in the original Broadway casts of Newsies, Matilda the Musical, and Finding Neverland, where he originated the role of Porthos.

His television and film credits include High School Musical, High School Musical 2, The American Mall, Smash, and SYTYCD. Thayne also toured nationally with productions such as West Side Story and Oz, and spent six years dancing professionally with Odyssey Dance Theatre, performing globally and contributing as a choreographer.

Most recently, Thayne performed with the original cast of Hamilton at the 78th Annual Tony Awards (2025), celebrating his continued impact and legacy on Broadway.

DELANEY GOLD
- is a New York–based musical theatre actor, singer, dancer, and creative originally from Spokane, Washington. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Belmont University in Nashville, where she had the privilege of learning from some of the top voice teachers and musicians in the country and singing backup for artists like Sheryl Crow and Kristin Chenoweth.

Delaney trained in dance at The Dance Center of Spokane, Broadway Dance Center, Steps on Broadway, and Millennium Dance Complex. Since the age of 18, she has performed professionally both nationally and internationally, working with renowned choreographers such as Al Blackstone, Denis Jones, Nicholas Palmquist, Mara Greer, and Robbie Roby.

Some of her favorite credits include the 1st National Tour of Tootsie the Musical, Newsies and The Wizard of Oz at Tuacahn Amphitheatre, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Hairspray, and The Hunchback of Notre Dame at Music Theatre Wichita, Spamalot and Grease at Studio Tenn, Evita at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center (starring Eden Espinosa and Ben Crawford), and West Side Story at A.D. Players in Houston.

Delaney also works as an educator in dance, theatre, and music in New York City. She believes everyone should be empowered to express their unique voice and gifts. Much gratitude to God, her family and friends - and especially her dad, Kent Gold, who made so many sacrifices to help her achieve her dreams.

This workshop is designed to inspire students and introduce them to future training opportunities at UAC.

For those interested, it will also serve as an audition for the UAC Theatre Program. We are seeking students who are eager to focus their training in acting, music, and musical theatre dance.

At the conclusion of the workshop, UAC Directors and guest faculty will send acceptance invitations via email to students who demonstrate interest, commitment, and age-appropriate classroom etiquette.

LEVELS:
Students will register by age for the theatre camp.
